A Ring fit for a Lord by Aranglinn A Ring fit for a Lord by Aranglinn
So I started studying jewelry in florence 3 months ago, as some of you might now.

I've been working a lot on a lot of different proyects. Mostly different kinds of stone settings and some engraving
a few days ago I took some pieces of wax and decided to experiment.

and I liked the result
a Lot...
so much that I had to get it cast in Gold and set my biggest Ruby into it... I could barely afford it (now I'm struggling to get enough for this month's rent xD) but when you get an idea stuck in your head... well... there's not much else you can do

so now I have this really nice ring that I'm totally in love with :P
5.1 grams of 18kt Gold and an unspecified-weight ruby :P

amazing i love it :) the leaf pattern really is well done and the stone is perfect choice. Don't know but i thought to Giulio Cesare, maybe because the leaves seam a crown and the red is the main roman colour :D

Thank you!! I had that stone laying there for ages and then when I finished the shaping of the ring saw it and just knew it had to be there :P
your roman thoughts suit perfectly! I love roman history and aesthetics but it had not ocurred to me to think about it that way. It's a really nice way of looking at it :D
