Viking pennanular brooch

finished at last! (well... I started it like... on tuesday, it wasn't a loong wait xD)

well again, this is a viking bossed pennanular brooch, they were popular from like... 9th to 11th century in scandinavia and originated from the viking settlement's in ireland

I based this one on many actual hiberno-norse brooches from ireland but the filigree and granulation is more common in scandinavia itself (still... my filigree sucks and my granulation is not a lot better xD)


but I really liked how this one came out
I messed up several times there, but I still think it's my best piece so far (and by far xD)
