This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Hmm... I just received an interesting job that has led me to researching the Futhark and the rune meanings. I am trying to select a rune that would best represent faith. You were the first person I thought of that would possibly know the answer or a close suggestion to this. I had picked out Othala because I found this as a meaning: "spiritual heritage, experience and fundamental values. Aid in spiritual and physical journeys." (www.sunnyway.com) Am I on the right track? Hope I'm not being rude and presumptuous! deviantART muro drawing
I think you're right also, othala is the rune of the ancestral heritage, of the forefathers, which were as important for ancient peoples as faith itself, or reresented some kind of it... that's probably the one you're looking for, but if I remember something else, I'll tell you

In the halls of valhalla!! where the brave may live forever...
Thanks. I've always been quite fussy over symbols and words. I remember a Chinese friend of mine commenting on how people who didn't understand Chinese would wear clothes that had Chinese symbols printed on them that "looked cool" to a naive viewer. She would understand the symbols and they would often translate to dumb things like "window" or "paintbrush" or something. I didn't want my runes in this piece to just be randomly selected and slapped on. I thought it would be an insult to those that created them and to the person getting the piece in the end!
that's what I like about runes, you can always traze back it's meaning, to the eddas and stuff, or even if you don't, they're also letters, so you can use them to just write and it WILL mean something
